Music

Colin’s first passion has always been music, growing up with his dad playing guitar and mom playing viola in the local community orchestra.

Collegiately, he music directs musicals like Urinetown and benefit cabarets for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. He arranges and programs for MainStage. He also plays accordion and clarinet, currently trying to teach himself oboe and trumpet.

He began singing in Kindergarten chorus and began playing alto saxophone in fourth grade. In middle school, he swapped the alto for the baritone saxophone and began playing piano, which has since become his primary instrument. He joined choir in high school, becoming choir president, singing in Mozart’s Coronation Mass in Carnegie Hall under Dr. Jeffery Benson, and receiving the National School Choral Award.
